Art Direction & Design

Subscribe is one of the most successful rock music groups in Hungary. The goal of this project was to create engaging and vibrant artwork for the group's new album. With only the title of the record "This Moment Will Soon Be Gone" as guidance, I set out to create the dual CD-DVD Digipak packaging design and all related print, merchandising and online promotional material.

IPTV Five-In-A-Row

Interface design & Front-end development

T-Home uses Microsoft's Mediaroom platform as their IPTV solution. This project involved designing and developing an interactive Five-In-A-Row game application as part of the Research & Development process exploring the platform's possibilites. My duties included the User Experience & Interface Design processes as well as Front-end coding with Mediaroom's unique MRML markup language. The same application was then transported to a different Hybrid IPTV system and the Web requiring new Front-end codes and adjustments. Users on any platform could play against each other real-time and their successes could be posted to social media via Facebook SDK integration.

IPTV Movie Store

Interface design & Front-end development

T-Home uses Microsoft's Mediaroom platform as their IPTV solution. The project involved designing and developing an interactive Movie Store application as part of the Research & Development process exploring the platform's possibilites. My duties included the User Experience & Interface Design processes as well as Front-end coding with Mediaroom's unique MRML markup language. The same application was then transported to a different Hybrid IPTV system requiring new Front-end code and adjustments. The real challenge was mimicing Mediaroom's new physics engine animations on the Hybrid platform.

Mapstack

Interface design & Front-end development

Mapstack is an indoor mobile map application for buildings. I was tasked with the complete Visual and User Experience design and Frond-End coding of the application and website. The Mapstack identity and website was created first, followed by the UI & UX design of the mobile application. Anyone can create maps for Mapstack with the separate web-based editor tool.

The Greatest Skeptic

Art direction & Development

For "The Greatest Skeptic" single premiere of Shell Beach a microsite and new artwork was created. Visitors were encouraged to share the site on social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter or Email) in exchange for listening to the new track. The microsite yielded more than 1000 shares in only a few days after launch.

This Is Desolation

Art direction & Design

The new album artwork for Shell Beach was designed for a special DBS Discbox Slider type packaging, manufactured by Store Enso in Germany. The Discbox Slider is an innovative, all-paper CD packaging solution. The record was also released digitally by Redfield Records in Germany, which required a digital version of the booklet to be created for iTunes as well.

Eastaste

Interface design & Front-end development

Eastaste is a music licensing agency providing music for various audiovisual projects. I was tasked with creating Eastaste's online identity and their website. The need to easily customize, update and rearrange website content and to go live as soon as possible prompted the use of a wordpress-based content management solution.

Till We Drop

Art direction & Design

Artwork for Till We Drop's "Skyward" EP. A Digipak CD cover was designed for this project with the same recurring "Skyward" theme throughout the booklet, as well as merchandising and online promotional material.

Acronycal

Art direction & Design

Artwork designed for the Jewel Case CD packaging of the first Shell Beach record, titled "Acronycal". The booklet has a special layout with an 8-panel and two 4-panel sheets pinned together in the center. Released by Edge Records.

Where Parallels Meet

Art direction & Design

Artwork designed for the Jewel Case CD packaging of the first Velvet Stab EP, titled "Where Parallels Meet". A special semi-oblique dark-brown dye was used on the CD face as one of the inks for an interesting effect. Released by Beniihana Records, Germany.
